The individual selected as Grant Writer/Fund Developer shall have the ability to conduct appropriate research, identify, define and develop funding sources to support existing and planned program activities, as well as coordinate the development, writing and submission of grant proposals to third-party entities. The position is also responsible for collecting, analyzing and reporting data on the performance of program activities that are funded by third-party private and public sources.
Bachelor’s Degree preferred, or have a proven track record in related discipline with a minimum of five years of related experience in research, development and grant proposal writing and submission, as well as program development.
Proficient in most computer related software, i.e. Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
We require a minimum of 1-Year Volunteer Commitment.
Although the office is located in Houston, TX, this position may be performed virtually, depending on the location of the Volunteer.
