On February 27, 2008 an organizing committee met to form an organization dedicated to the support of persons who live with schizophrenia and related disorders. The committee chose to name the organization "Schizophrenia And Related Disorders Alliance of America", also to be known as SARDAA.
SARDAA has been organized to continue ongoing support for Schizophrenics Anonymous, create a national toll-free hotline, provide information via this website, promote personal stories of recovery and hope, organize a speaker's bureau of people with expertise about living with the disease, family issues and support for care professionals. Our focus is on providing materials and information that will assist people in their own personal journey in living with their illness.
Schizophrenia and Related Disorders Alliance of America (SARDAA), has been designated a non-profit 501(c)3 organization and is working to help this underserved population and their families.
We welcome those who share in our concern for and providing of assistance to help those with schizophrenia and psychotic disorders. Together, we can make a difference.
