Brandon Staglin receives the National Shattering Stigma – Realizing Recovery Award

This is the highest honor SARDAA awards to an exemplary individual diagnosed with a schizophrenia-related brain disorder who, while actively participating in a personal recovery journey, is a mental health advocate, educating the public about severe mental illness.

Brandon manages online communications for both Staglin Family Vineyard and International Mental Health Research Organization (IMHRO) and seeks to inspire hope for a better future for people with mental illness through his “Brain Waves” webcast. He further connects the public with pioneering neuroscientists at the scientific symposium which he orchestrates and hosts at IMHRO’s annual Music Festival for Brain Health. He speaks nationwide about the power of prevention and early intervention to maximize life potential for at-risk youth.
